The Asian Journal of Management Technology Application (AJMTA) employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, validity, and originality of each submitted manuscript. All manuscripts are reviewed objectively and confidentially by experts in the relevant fields.

The review process follows these stages:

1. Submission and Initial Screening

  • All manuscripts must be submitted via the Online Journal System (OJS).

  • The Editorial Office conducts an initial screening to evaluate the manuscript’s scope, format, and originality.

  • Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s scope, quality standards, or formatting requirements will be returned to the author for revision or rejected without external review.

2. Plagiarism Check

  • Every submitted manuscript is checked using plagiarism detection software to ensure academic integrity.

  • Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references) will not proceed to the review stage and may be rejected.

3. Assignment to Reviewers

  • Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant research area.

  • The review process is double-blind, meaning both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the process.

4. Review Process

  • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

    • Originality and contribution to knowledge

    • Theoretical and methodological rigor

    • Clarity of presentation and organization

    • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

    • Accuracy of data, analysis, and conclusions

  • Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations to help the editor decide whether the paper should be accepted, revised, or rejected.

5. Review Decision

After receiving reviewer feedback, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept Submission – The paper is accepted without changes.

  • Minor Revision – The paper requires small corrections before final acceptance.

  • Major Revision – The paper needs substantial improvement and will undergo another round of review after resubmission.

  • Reject Submission – The paper does not meet the journal’s standards for publication.

6. Revision Process

  • Authors are required to address all reviewer comments clearly and comprehensively.

  • Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted within the specified timeframe (typically 2–4 weeks).

  • The revised version may be sent back to the same reviewers for reassessment if necessary.

7. Final Decision and Publication

  • The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ recommendations and the authors’ revisions.

  • Once accepted, the paper undergoes copyediting, layout formatting, and proofreading before publication in the next scheduled issue.

8. Review Timeline

The peer-review process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of revisions.

9. Confidentiality and Ethics

All manuscripts and review materials are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers and editors must not use or share unpublished materials from a manuscript for personal or professional advantage. AJMTA strictly follows the ethical guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
