Archiving Policy
The Asian Journal of Management Technology Application (AJMTA) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published scholarly content. To ensure that all articles remain permanently available, AJMTA implements a comprehensive digital archiving policy through trusted preservation systems and repositories.
1. Digital Preservation
AJMTA utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. These systems ensure that AJMTA’s published content is preserved and remains accessible even in the event of a journal system failure or data loss.
2. Institutional Repository Archiving
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their work in:
-
Institutional repositories
-
Subject repositories
-
Personal websites
-
Research networks (such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.)
This includes pre-print, accepted manuscript, and published versions, provided that proper citation and a link to the original publication in AJMTA are included.
3. Self-Archiving Policy
AJMTA allows authors to self-archive their articles according to the following terms:
-
Pre-print version (before peer review): May be posted anywhere at any time.
-
Post-print version (after peer review but before copyediting): May be archived in institutional repositories or personal websites with acknowledgment to AJMTA.
-
Published version (final PDF): May be archived in repositories, provided a link to the official journal website or DOI is included.
All versions must include the following citation format and link to the AJMTA article page.
4. Indexing and Metadata Preservation
AJMTA ensures long-term discoverability of published articles by submitting metadata to international indexing databases, digital libraries, and citation tracking systems. The journal’s content is also regularly backed up on secure servers to prevent data loss.
5. Portico and Other Archiving Services
In addition to LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, AJMTA aims to collaborate with Portico and other reputable archiving partners to strengthen its preservation strategy and ensure permanent access to all published materials.
6. Commitment to Accessibility
AJMTA guarantees that all published articles remain openly accessible to readers worldwide under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The journal’s commitment to open access aligns with its mission to promote global knowledge dissemination in management and technology research.
